Chariot Comics – ‘Zombie Rising Vol 1’ Comic Review

In 2014, Chariot Comics launched ‘Zombie Rising Vol 1’ in collaboration with India’s first zombie origin movie ‘Rise of Zombie’. Overall, the movie got mixed reviews in India, but the comic ‘Zombie Rising Vol 1’ is definitely better than the movie. We at Comicstan grabbed the copy of Zombie Rising Vol 1 and decided to review it for all the Comicstanis. Anyone who is a horror and zombie fan must add this comic book to their collection. ‘Zombie Rising Vol 1’ is a good mixture of a solid storyline and good artwork. The comic book ‘Zombie Rising Vol 1’ starts with ‘The Bahadur Incident’. So this guy, Bahadur, lives in a small village outside a town with his wife and son. The village soon comes under the attack of Zombies and one of those zombies manages to kill Bahadur’s loved ones. Bahadur, burning in the fire of revenge, goes on a quest to find out the root of the zombie menace. As he does that, he encounters more unbelievably terrible stuff… Comicstan tends to keep the major spoilers away. Thus we are not giving away the complete story of ‘Zombie Rising Vol 1’. All we can say is that, these 60 pages of the comic book are so interesting that it will keep you hooked and by the end of it, you’ll be wanting more… Comicstan gives ‘Zombie Rising Vol 1’ – 3 out of 5 Stars.
